Chiropractic adjustment refers to the manual manipulation of the body with the purpose of alleviating problems within the musculoskeletal system. The musculoskeletal system is composed of the bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, joints, and other connective tissues that provide support, stability and movement in the body. When there are misalignments within the spine it can cause mild, severe, acute or chronic symptoms, along with limited mobility and difficulty carrying out usual day to day tasks. Adjustments are very safe and can be performed with the hands or with an instrument/device.
Now the chiropractic adjustment isn't the only thing that we offer here at DBH Chiropractic, we also offer a wide variety of therapies and modalities in order to speed up the healing process and get the long-lasting results you deserve.

The goal of this therapy is to break up scar tissue increase blood flow to the area of pain to increase delivery of nutrients to speed up the healing process.
Intersegmental traction is commonly used in chiropractic and is used to mobilize the spine and help lengthen the muscles surrounding the spine to help increase mobility and get the muscles back to their normal resting length.
